ALDE was founded in 1991.The Board is supported
by a Medical Advisory Board of 14 doctors. The number of members is over 900.
Brochures, leaflets and a Newsletter are published regularly. Several
regional self-help-groups are formed. In the main office, a social worker and
a psychologist advise members individually or in groups. An annual Medical
Congress is organised with the collaboration of several Neurologists.
